1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through www.teherrugs.com, operated by TeHer Art Rugs (“TeHer”, “we”). By placing an order you agree to these terms. Contact: hello@teherrugs.com · +1 305 497 7661.

2. Our products

TeHer offers (a) made-to-order custom rugs, hand-knotted in Kathmandu, Nepal, woven new for each order in the size and construction you select; and (b) limited artist-edition rugs created in collaboration with contemporary artists. Every rug is handmade: minor variations in size (±3%), color, and texture are inherent to hand-knotting and are not defects. Colors on screen may differ from the physical piece due to display settings and dye lots.

3. Made-to-order timing

Custom rugs are woven after your order is placed. Production typically takes approximately 1–3 months, plus shipping. Timelines are estimates, not guarantees; we will keep you informed of your order’s progress.

4. Orders and payment

Prices are in USD. Full payment is collected at checkout. Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund; after 48 hours, production of a made-to-order piece has begun and the order can no longer be cancelled.

5. Returns

Because each made-to-order rug is woven specifically for you, made-to-order sales are final and not eligible for return or exchange, except for manufacturing defects (see Section 6). Artist-edition rugs may be returned within 14 days of delivery in original condition; return shipping is at the customer’s expense.

6. Defects and damage in transit

Please inspect your rug on delivery. If your piece arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, contact hello@teherrugs.com within 7 days of delivery with photographs, and we will repair, replace, or refund the piece at our discretion and at no cost to you.

7. Shipping

We currently ship within the United States. Shipping costs and estimated transit times are shown at checkout or quoted by email for custom projects.

8. Custom design service

For bespoke sizes, 150-knot weaving, or special materials, contact hello@teherrugs.com. Custom quotations are valid for 30 days.

9. Intellectual property

All designs, images, and content on this site are the property of TeHer Art Rugs or its collaborating artists and may not be reproduced without permission. Purchase of a rug does not transfer any design rights.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeHer’s liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the version published at the time of your order applies. Last updated: August 2026.
